I am sorry to have neglected you for so long. I know, I know… I could have written at least an occasional hello or a how do you do. I am a bad friend, I accept that, but I am hoping that you will appreciate the fact I am here now talking with you. See, the past few months of my life have been extremely busy. And while the whole point of writing to you is to keep you updated on my current events and happenings, I have not been in the right mindset to write about it all.

Where should I start? Well, I am living in Perrysburg now with Becca and Sam. This has been the biggest change by far in my life the past few months. I basically inherited a new family… a loving girlfriend, a caring roommate, an insane cat, a chubby guinea pig, and two very loud neighbors. In fact, you should go check out Becca’s website!

I also acquired a Nintendo Wii. Please don’t feel like this is going to replace you website. It won’t. In fact I can even bring you up on it’s fancy built in internet channel! Also more good news for you website; I am getting a new digital camera this week, which means tons of awesome pictures to go along with renewed joy of posting updates. Again, I hope you are not mad at me website, I did not mean to neglect you.”

Yes folks, December and the Holiday season officially ended for me on the 5th of January at my Uncle Todd and Aunt Rita’s place for the now traditional Robert’s family delayed Christmas. It has been quite the run the past month.

Becca and I gave each other our presents, which was a blast. ( so many fun things to play with) I also got to visit with Becca’s family twice for the holidays. Once for decorating cookies, clear toys, and other treats; and the other time for a wonderful Christmas with extended family. Thank you all for your wonderful hospitality, I felt like I was really part of the family! Then we celebrated Christmas here with my family. Much bonding took place.

Becca and I also made sushi quite a few times over the past month and are getting damn good at it now. The pictures are from our first roll we ever made. Didier, Rachel, and Jes came to visit us from California. It was a great time laughing, joking, and exchanging gifts with them. We all made sushi as a big family that night as well!

Now it is back to the studio, applying for jobs, working on portfolios, and building websites. Though this weekend we are off to Pittsburgh to visit friends. I can’t wait to see what the coming months hold! I’ll be sure to keep you up to date.

Well the time is finally here again. Mid November until a few days past New Years is my absolute favorite time of year. This year has been one of the best ever. From Becca’s birthday, Thanksgiving, and up to my birthday (with delicious Jessie cake) it has been non stop good times. Also over this time I got to meet Becca’s family (more coming up in December part 2), attend my first theatrical experience (Nutcracker), fun cooking times, and lots of time with family and friends.

I also want to wish Dustin the best of luck out in California, and I look forward to seeing Didier, Rach and Jes in December part 2. Thanks to everyone who is making this such a wonderful time. I hope to see more of my family in the next coming weeks, don’t be a stranger!

Baby Harry is here! He was born today at 7:45 pm and weighed 5 lbs 14oz. He is down at the St. Vincent’s NICU and is doing very well. Here are a couple pictures, and I will be posting more soon. Congrats Tyson and Jessie!

This past weekend Becca, Sam and I went to back to Oak Openings to take some pictures of the Evergreen Trail. I have to say that this trail contains one of my new favorite places in Ohio by far. The place I am referring to is a small area of the trail that contains some stripped evergreen trees, which we now dub the “magical forest.” Anywho, I thought I would share some of the photos I took along the trail. I hope when Didier and Rachel come home for Christmas that we can all make another trip there with snow on the ground.

Tonight was Marilla’s first Halloween on the mean streets of Perrysburg. Jessie made her costume last night and I have to say it looked amazing. The entire night I could not stop myself from laughing at how funny Marilla looked waddling up to the houses and saying “Trick or Treat” and “Happy Halloween.” She was very good with her “Thank You” as well.
